Victoria to Weymouth

An early water stop at Kensington Olympia provided a photographic opportunity, and to my surprise the Class

We are approaching Mitre Bridge Junction and are flying over the Great Western Main Line. On the right can

be seen North Pole Depot, at that time still in use to service Trans Manche Super Trains. To the right are the

carriage sheds of Old Oak Common. David Glasspool

We are now at Mitre Bridge Junction, where we begin descending towards Willesden SW sidings. The double

track in view curves round to Willesden Junction High Level station, and we will pass under it shortly.
