Framed by the footbridge completed in summer 2004, No. 375819 is seen passing through Farningham Road non-stop. The indented brick walls on either platform are original LC&DR features. © David Glasspool
Rumbling over the level crossing at Robertsbridge, London-bound, is No. 375702. The signal box here, built by contractor Saxby & Farmer in about 1885, was the only intermediate cabin between Tonbridge and Bopeep Junction to survive the 1986 electrification/re-signalling of the Hastings line. © David Glasspool
No. 375824 is seen entering the "down" platform loop at Paddock Wood, forming the front portion of a Charing Cross to Ramsgate service. The bridge in the background had its arch rebuilt to a wider profile in 1991, to accommodate oversized containers of Chunnel freights. © David Glasspool
Paddock Wood once again, but this time with Nos. 375623 and 375815 departing in the opposite direction with a Ramsgate to Charing Cross working. A footbridge equipped with lifts now dominates this end of the station. © David Glasspool
