Eynsford
The timber waiting shelter was viewed on 23rd May 2004 and apart from the missing sections of
valance, remains in good condition, thankfully having not been replaced by a bus shelter. Both
Shoreham and Bat & Ball had this basic shelter design. David Glasspool
No. 465193 trundles into the station on 31st March 2006, the last day of the government-run
''South Eastern Trains'' franchise, forming a Blackfriars to Sevenoaks (Tubs Hill) service.

A southward view on 31st March 2006, with No. 465193 emerging on the left, reveals the SR
concrete platform extensions of 1932. The metal railings here are as old as the main building,
but note that the same design continues over the platform extensions, the vertical uprights
instead being of concrete fabrication. David Glasspool
