The pitched roofs of the 1991-completed maintenance depot can just be picked out, the building clearly being at an angle to the former engine shed as the running lines curve round. The double-track in the foreground, branching off to the right, leads to Barnehurst. The latter forms one side of a triangle, the rest being made up by the North Kent Line and a second double-track spur from the Dartford direction. © David Glasspool
