No. 247 has "Birdcage" stock and a couple of Pullman cars in tow, as it approaches the barrow crossing. This locomotive was rebuilt from a D Class in 1921 by Beyer, Peacock & Co, and remained in service until July 1961. © David Glasspool Collection
