Rust had started to eat away at the edges of the doors on the trailers of No. 3013 on the Waterloo Connection, these of which were also showing watermarks extending down from the windows. Eurostar had scheduled to send the first of its Class 373 formations for scrap on 21st September 2016, in a move from St Pancras to Kingsbury Sidings, Warwickshire. However, this was cancelled at the eleventh hour. The handful of Class 373 sets which became permanent members of the SNCF domestic fleet have already been scrapped. © David Glasspool
