Kent Rail

Class 456

Partners in crime: No. 455845 and No. 456018 are seen side-by-side at Clapham Junction on 13th

October 2004. The former was working a Victoria to London Bridge service via Crystal Palace,

whilst the latter was operating in precisely the reverse direction. David Glasspool

Another side-by-side view this time reveals Nos. 455824 and 456016 at London Bridge on 18th

June 2007. Both are now in refurbished condition, and like their Class 456 counterparts, the

Class 455 fleet has received much needed high-backed seats. David Glasspool

Trailing No. 456016 on 18th June 2007 was No. 456006, again in refurbished condition, but

this time wearing a vinyl advertisement layer. This was promoting the railway company's

improvements in creating safer London stations. David Glasspool
