Gillingham Depot

The depot building is seen in this westward view on 25th February 2006. The depot here follows the

basic design of the storage shed at Ramsgate, both these buildings being of the same era. The four

lines received upward sliding doors in 1992, as part of the ''Networker'' project. David Glasspool

The carriage washing facility was viewed on the same day as the top picture. A contraption such

as this has been at the depot - and in this position - since the suburban electrification of 1939.

An eastward view from 31st May 2006 shows Class 375 No. 375624 passing Class 465 No.
