This gigantic two-tier glazed structure, measuring 130-metres by 25-metres, is the new “DART” terminus. It is situated on the eastern side of Parkway station, this of which it dwarfs. The footbridge linking the "DART" concourse to the railway station’s platforms can be seen on the right. © David Glasspool
At the time of this photograph, the link between the railway station and airport was maintained by the “bendy bus” service seen here, operated under the “Thameslink” brand. The bus stop is on the station’s forecourt on the western (“down”) side of the tracks. © David Glasspool
The ticket hall seen here is situated on the western side of the tracks, within the main station building. The latter is a two-storey-high structure with a triangular floor plan and is clad with grey tiles. © David Glasspool
This view depicts the terminus of the "DART" system at Luton Airport, just a 135-metre walk from the terminal. The platforms are at a lower level, to the right. © David Glasspool
