Platform Nos. 21 (right) and 24 (left) are both occupied by Class 373 formations in this northward view of the distorted roof. The roof was formally deemed complete on 7th July 1992, when British Rail Board Chairman Sir Bob Reid and two local school children inserted the final locking pin into the last roof truss. © David Glasspool Collection
