Sidcup
No. 465021 had trundled in on 3rd July 2006 with a Charing Cross service. On the right of
this westward view, the ending of the brick platform surface and the beginning of the concrete
extension, is evident. David Glasspool
An eastward view from the same platform reveals the 1967 siding, which cost £50,000 to install
(about £608,000 in today's prices). The speed sign below the four-aspect colour light indicates a
maximum access speed of 15 MPH. David Glasspool
The western elevation of the ''up'' station building of 1988 is seen on 3rd July 2006, with its
distinctive glazed pitched roof. It incorporates a much larger ticket office than its predecessor,
complete with a café. David Glasspool
