A trio of MLVs are seen withdrawn at Ramsgate, upon one of a trio of sidings laid during the Kent Coast Electrification Scheme. From front to rear are MLV Nos. 419006, 419007, 419005, and prototype 4 CEP (by this time reduced to three vehicles and now a 3-CEP) No. 1500. © John Horton

Withdrawn, but on the way to preservation. During the open day at Bournemouth Depot in 1998, MLV Nos. 931091 and 931092 (formerly Nos. 419001 and 419002 respectively) were on show. No. 931091 was at least earmarked to be saved at this time, by the ''EPB Preservation Group''. © David Glasspool Collection
