Kent Rail

Class 60

South Eastern Division

A rather grubby No. 60063 ''James Murray'' is seen in Hoo Junction ''up'' yard on 25th February

2006, wearing the 1994-released TransRail livery. This was basically an adaptation of the two-tone

grey livery pioneered by the TrainLoad sectors from 1987 onwards. David Glasspool

No. 60071 light engine through Greenhithe

Another scene at Greenhithe, but this time earlier in the year and with another member of the

class: No. 60071 is seen trundling past the remains of the 1849-built station, as it journeys

light engine to Hoo Junction on 17th May 2004 in gloriously sunny weather. David Glasspool

No. 60074 is seen traversing a well known stretch of line in June 1997. It is seen shortly after

passing over Factory Junction, having come off the spur from Clapham Junction with a string

of hopper wagons bound for Cliffe Gravel Works. David Glasspool Collection
