Moving across the diagram further towards Redhill, it can be seen that extensive sidings remained on the ''up'' side of the line. The ''Landfill Siding'' marked on the diagram served a clay pit formerly excavated by the South Eastern Brick & Terra Cotta Company. © Peter Gibbons
