The entrance/exit to the platforms on the southern side of the main hall is titled "Porte Alpes" ("Alps Gate"). Through here is a direct walking route to the airport’s Terminal 1 and stairs, lifts, and escalators to the TGV platforms. © David Glasspool
On the opposite side of the main hall to "Porte Alpes" is "Porte Rhône" ("Rhône Gate"), after one of the rivers that runs through Lyon). Like its counterpart, it leads to stairs, lifts, and escalators connecting with the TGV platforms. © David Glasspool
