On 1st November 1991, Old Oak Common displayed No. 47033 in splendid condition. This locomotive
stayed with RfD to the very end, subsequently being absorbed into the EWS fleet. It is still in active
service today with Cotswold Rail. David Glasspool Collection
Looking a little grubby, No. 47236 is depicted at Tinsley on 14th October 1995. The sale of RfD
two years later also marked the closure of the depot at Tinsley, which had originally opened in
September 1961. David Glasspool Collection
Tinsley again, this time with No. 47238 ''Bescot Yard'' on 7th March 1993, complete with silver
rimmed window frames. Locomotive reallocations between sectors were common and in the
background can be seen a Class 47 wearing the logo of TrainLoad Petroleum.

Certainly the end of the line for the life-expired No. 47214, seen in a vandalised state at Tinsley on
14th October 1995. It remained in this condition for about another three years, until being scrapped.
