The waiting shelter not only retains its clover-patterned canopy, but is still host to glazing. The former Station Master's office takes up the left third of the structure, as indicated by the turquoise door. Worthy of note is the fact that the side elevation is plain brown unpainted clapboard - this has for long been the case, since the days of steam. © David Glasspool

Despite automated operation of the level crossing since the 1979 singling of the route, the former Crossing Keeper's house has managed to avoid destruction, unlike that at Winchelsea. It survives today as a dwelling. © David Glasspool
