Ascending the "up" side stairs, the lift can again be seen at the bottom left, but the platform now also comes into view. That part of the platform immediately adjacent to the staircase is covered by a flat metal roof, built to the same general design as that which emerged at Greenhithe in 2007. © David Glasspool
This is the former site of the SE&CR main "up" side station building, seen in an eastward view from the new staircase. If an artist's impression is anything to go by, this area will become a general open space, to provide a large station forecourt. © David Glasspool
