The footbridge has been built to the same standard, modular design as that at nearby Greenhithe, the latter of which was installed in March 2008. © David Glasspool

A westward view shows the terminating line coming in from the left and the through platform lines widening to avoid the bridge support. The lattice footbridge succumbed, but the 1970s CLASP store, on the right, has managed to survive the rebuilding works! © David Glasspool

Class 466 No. 466004 was fronting a Charing Cross via Sidcup service, which was parked in the terminal platform. The new platform construction here is as per those recent platform extensions along the North Kent routes, comprising concrete struts backed by mesh sheeting, with grey brick on some sections. © David Glasspool
