A good deal of plastic sheeting still shielded the railings of the new platform at this time, as evidenced in this eastward view from platform 0. The railings have been fortunate to retain an attractive shade of blue, complemented with gold tips, but the lampposts have received the standard ''battleship grey'' paint coat. © David Glasspool
